Kanye West wants to make a significant change!
He simply wants his name legally change his name from Kanye Omari West to just Ye.
As reported on Yahoo, a California judge must sign off for it to be official. In many cases, the name change must be published in several newspapers; the article points out.
According to legal documents obtained by Variety, Ye wants to make the change for “personal reasons,” but it doesn’t give details as to why.
His highly anticipated Donda album will have a third listening party on Aug. 26 in Chicago. It’ll take place at soldier filed, and he’s reportedly building a replica of the childhood home he lived in.
Donda was set to arrive first in 2020, then on Jul. 23, 2021, and again on Aug. 6, 2021. It’s still unclear when it’ll drop, there are whispers it’ll be this weekend, but there’s no official confirmation.
