Lil Nas X knows how to get people talking.

He dropped the visual for his latest single, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).” The video sparked mega controversy, especially the scene where Lil Nas X gives the devil a lap dance. While some fans thought the video was “out there,” others gave the rapper props for his creativity and thinking outside the box.

The “Old Town Road” rapper sparked more mayhem after dropping his unofficial collab with Nike for the “Satan Shoe.” CNN reports the black and red sneakers (only 666 pairs) sold out in less than one minute. USA Today reports one pair sold for $1,018. The kicks came with a bronze pentagram, an inverted cross, and a drop of real human blood. People online had mixed feelings; take a look:

Lil Nas X collaborated with a New York-based art collective MSCHF, to drop the Nike Air Max 97s. Nike told CNN they weren’t involved in creating the modified sneaker. In a statement, Nike said, “We do not have a relationship with Lil Nas or MSCHF. Nike did not design or release these shoes, and we do not endorse them.”

After receiving backlash, Lil Nas issued an apology. Take a look:

He’s still trolling, though!
