A producer by the name of Delray Richardson is sharing some untold stories about Tupac and Left Eye.
During a recent interview, Richardson revealed some details about Tupac and Left Eye’s relationship. Richardson shared the story of how Left Eye almost put the paws on some lady for talking to her name, Tupac.
As Richardson, Left Eye and Tupac were enjoying a night out.. things took an interesting turn. “As I’m standing over there, here comes Left Eye,” said Richardson. “Left Eye jumps in-between the girl and Tupac kinda like, nudging the girl out of the way. And the girl, she like, one of them petty taps, tap somebody not the shoulder like, you know, like ‘scuse me, you’re in my way… When she touched Left Eye on the shoulder, Left Eye went off.”
Richardson says Left Eye told the woman “don’t put your mutha-f***in hands on me” before the woman’s friends caught wind of what was going on.
“Tupac, he jumps in-between them and kinda like, having Left Eye by her shoulders, escorting her back a little bit, kinda pushing her back from the situation.” The other women left the club as Tupac tried to calm Left Eye down. That didn’t work, and she stormed out the club instead. Tupac followed, but he was upset. “‘A n*gga can’t even have a good time,’ he said, ‘I ain’t come in here for this drama,’” recalled Richardson.
Richardson said he had no idea that they were “sneaky-linking.”
