Yesterday (Oct. 21), the internet had tons of fun following news from TMZ that Suge Knight allegedly signed the rights to his life story to singer, Love & Hip Hop star, and Brandy’s brother Ray J.

Knight got on the phone with The Blast to clear up the rumors, and to set the record straight on roles.

During the call, he denied signing rights over to his story, in which he revealed that those rights belong to his fiancée Toi-Lin Kelly who will be responsible for all projects from Suge’s story.

Ray J’s role will be “holding down Death Row Records on the music front and overseeing any new music coming out from the label.”

New music from Death Row?

As for his official story, it looks like tapped Nick Cannon who he dubbed “the most realest guy in the business today,” to help him write and publish a book that will detail his life.

Either way it looks like Vince Staples’ comments five years ago with Rosenberg that “everything that we love is directly connected to Ray J” may still hold true.
