Megan Thee Stallion sat down for her first TV interview following the alleged Tory Lanez shooting.
Megan joined CBS Morning for an exclusive interview with Gayle King. In the interview, Megan details the notorious night where her former friend rapper Tory Lanez, reportedly shot her in the foot after a night out. Tory is facing two felony charges, one for assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and another for carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in his vehicle. Tory has since denied the claims.
Megan explains, “it was an argument because I was ready to go, and everybody else wasn’t ready to go.” She continues “but that’s like normal friend stuff, we fuss about silly stuff all the time.”
“I never put my hands on anybody, I never raised my voice too loud, like this was one of them times where it’s like it shouldn’t have got this crazy,” she further detailed. “Everything just happened so fast.” Before the shooting Megan says, “all I hear this man screaming is, ‘dance, bitch,’ and he starts shooting, and I’m just like ‘oh my God…’ like he shot a couple of times.”
In another resurfaced clip, Megan explains that when she went to see the doctor- the doctor asks, “you know you have bullets in both your feet?” In text messages obtained by CBS – Megan’s former BFF Kelsey texted Megan’s security guard saying “help, Tory shot Meg.”
