Tory Lanez could be facing more legal trouble.
Complex reports, prosecutors say that the rapper has violated the restraining order against him filed by Megan Thee Stallion. They have also stated that prosecutors have filed a motion to hold Lanez in contempt.
This violation comes from his appearance at Rolling Loud Miami, the same day that Megan performed. The ‘Say It” rapper surprised fans during Da Baby’s set, which took place right after Megan’s performance.
Prosecutors are arguing that Lanez’s participation in the music festival was a direct violation of the restraining order because he was within 100 yards of Megan.
Police in Miami and Los Angeles were reportedly informed about the violation. Prosecutors are also asking the judge to increase Lanez’s bail or to revoke it.
Tory Lanez is facing felony assault charges after his altercation with Megan Thee Stallion in 2020 that resulted in her being shot in both of her feet.
