Trey Songz got himself into a bit of trouble as the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against Buffalo Bills on Sunday night (Jan. 25).
According to TMZ, the singer was allegedly being heckled by fans throughout the game, as Songz addressed them. An officer then approached Trey Songz who was sitting in the stands alongside other fans. As video shows, the two got into an altercation, which showed a punch from Trey Songz to the officer who then put him in a headlock before other officers got into the picture to assist.
Songz has been reportedly charged with trespassing and resisting arrested, which are misdemeanors, as well as assaulting a police officer which is considered a felony.
The Chiefs were allowing 22% of their fans in attendance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Arrowhead Stadium usually carries 76,416 fans, which means almost 17,000 were in attendance during yesterday’s AFC Championship Game.
