Things are going pretty well for the Philly rapper Meek Mill!
Meek was released from prison back in April so ever since then, he’s been enjoying life!
When he came home he didn’t put out music right away, instead, he focused on being involved in prison reform movements. Fans couldn’t wait for a new Meek Mill album to drop!
When his fourth-studio album Championships arrived on November 30, it quickly becomes the talk of the streets. Now the numbers are in and they don’t lie! Meek Mill’s album is now the number one album in the country, according to Billboard. The article reports, The set earned 229,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Dec. 6, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 42,000 were in traditional album sales.
