A Boogie has a new single for the summer!
“Bleed” is out now along with a visual. A Boogie brings his melodic tone on the track while reminding listeners that he’s the king of his city!
He raps:
“They call me a SoundCloud boy/ They stealin’ my sound now, boy/ I feel like I’m really the king in my city / I got the crown now, boy.”
Last year, A Boogie sat down with Complex and spoke on rappers stealing his sound. He said it’s not fun because real talent gets lost in the sauce.
“It’s not fun no more. It’s still fun to make music for me, cause I’m still doing my thing, trying different s*** but I feel like if everybody tried different s***, we can see who’s really nice.”
A Boogie also set a new date for his deluxe version of Artist 2.0 to be released. It’s set to drop on Juneteenth, June 19. He also announced that he’d be donating $100,000 worth of tablets and laptops to his former elementary school, PS 126 to ensure they have the proper tools for remote learning due to COVID-19. In an Instagram post he said,
“To the best fans in the world: Thanks for being patient and always supporting everything I do. It took a while to bring you this Deluxe because I wanted to make sure it dropped at a time that felt right. But it’s finally here! 6/19 it’s up! As part of this release, I am donating $100k worth of tablets/laptops to my old elementary school, PS 126, in the Bronx, so that they can do their remote learning in the safest way. With everything going on in the world, I believe it’s important to invest in the youth because by doing so, we are investing in a better future. I can’t wait to see y’all soon but until then, stay safe and take care of each other!”
