B.G. was released from prison last week after more than a decade behind bars and Birdman, who recruited him and Lil Wayne at his Cash Money Records when they were tweens, is already teasing new music from the “Bling Bling” rapper.
On Saturday (Sept. 9), Birdman shared an Instagram post that showcased all the trials and tribulations that the former Hot Boys member faced before and during his prison sentence.“[Heart emoji] of [the] streets, my oldest son B.G. home @new_bghollyhood. We bringing gangsta hip hop [back] #OriginalHOTBOY #Cashmoneymillionaire #UPTOWNLIVINLEGENDS #CCGGCMRG,” he wrote. You can check out the post below.
During a recent appearance on the “85 South Show,” the record executive confirmed that the B.G. will continue to be a member of the Cash Money family. “For the record, I just want n**gas to know that my n**ga [B.G.] official Cash Money — ain’t no cap in that,” Birdman declared.
He continued, “Ya heard me? Ain’t nobody he can ever sign with beside this s**t. I’m bringing all this s**t together. B.G. signed to Cash Money so y’all don’t got to hear it from nowhere else.”
