A new music video is on the way!
Fabolous rounded up his guys, Harlem’s own Dave East and Philly rapper Meek Mill, to shoot a music video. They were spotted filming in New York City on August 15.
In the video, the three artists were on top of a parking garage and spitting their bars. In another scene, they were someone on an NYC street. Take a look:
Fans under the comment section are excited. One online user wrote, “I’ve been waiting for this song for a minute.” Someone else commented, “NYC shutdown on a touch down (hand clap emoji) I’ve been waiting for something like this to happen. I visioned it already.” Another fan guessed when the song will drop and said, “looking like a Labor Day weekend release.”
It’s unclear what song they were shooting for or when it’ll drop. Hip Hop DX points out it could be an upcoming single for a forthcoming Fabolous project. Over the weekend, at a concert in Buffalo, he announced he’s dropping something in September.
Last Week, our living legend Funk Flex challenged Fabolous to drop music. On IG he said, “I challenge Fabolous to get me a song by next Thursday in six days.” He continued, “Fabolous, do you accept the challenge or not? Fabolous, I’ve been paying attention to you. I see you out here, I hope this doesn’t get you upset, but you been getting $80,000 to $100,000 a show to host. Not even do shows — $80,000 to $100,000 to walk in the building.”
Fab accepted the challenge and dropped music. About a week after, he dropped “1 Thing Freestyle,” “Say Less” featuring French Montana.
Fabolous is hosting our LEGENDARY Hot 97 Who’s Next showcase, which was on pause due to the pandemic, but returns on September 14 at 7pm EST. The show goes down at the hottest club in NYC, the newly renovated Sounds Of Brazil, also known as SOB’s.
The lineup features the dopest artists on the rise, Young Devyn, Armani White, Lil Migo, 26 AR, and SwaVay. Music by our very own DJ Drewski/heavy hitter and the heavy hitter DJ Lil Taj.
