Awards season is approaching which means nominations have begun rolling in. On Nov 100, the nominations for the 67th annual Grammy Awards were announced.
SZA is in the lead of all nominees with nine total nominations for her work on her latest album, SOS. The project was also nominated for Album of the Year.
Following the Snooze artist is Victoria Monét, Phoebe Bridgers, and mixing engineer Serban Ghenea, all tied with seven total nominations each.
This year, fans are greeted with a new category, Best African Music Performance. Artists like Asake, Olamide, Burna Boy, Davido, Musa Keys, Ayra Starr, and Tyla were all nominated. Burna Boy was actually nominated for three Grammys total.
