Jada Pinkett-Smith is updating fans on her alopecia diagnosis.
We previously reported that Jada revealed her reasoning for shaving her head completely bald. The actress shared a video via Instagram, showing off what looks like a mark on her scalp as she explains that she’s been struggling with alopecia. Jada says the mark is going to be “hard to hide” and she decided to share the video to answer any upcoming questions.
She captions the video, “mama’s gonna have to take it down to the scalp so nobody thinks she got brain surgery or something. me and this alopecia are going to be friends … period!”
Now- in an updated post, Jada says her hair is growing back in. “This here hair is act’n like it’s try’n a make a comeback. Still have some trouble spots but — we’ll see. Slide 1: Past. Slide 2: Present” she captions the series of photos.
