JAY-Z revealed why he hasn’t headlined the Super Bowl halftime show yet.
“I don’t know,” the Brooklyn rapper began during a rrecent interview with “Entertainment Tonight” at the premiere of his new movie The Book of Clarence. “I thought it would be selfish to pick myself too early. Maybe one year. Maybe.”
Elsewhere during the conversation, JAY-Z also spoke about Usher headlining gig at this year’s halftime show, which is set to happen in Las Vegas on Sunday, Feb. 11. “I think he’s gonna take his rightful place. He’s one of the greatest performers we’ve seen in our time and I think he’ll take his rightful place,” he said of the Confessions hitmaker.
