Joey BadA$$ shares the reason for his departure on as Unique on Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
While out in New York City with his girlfriend, Serayah, TMZ caught up with the actor and asked him how he felt about his character being killed off the show. “I was very mad. I was upset,” BadA$$ said. “Unfortunately, I do have two careers that balancing. So I had to go on tour, and we just kinda couldn’t make it work. So they had to take out Unique. Who knows, though. Maybe we can start a petition or somethin and tell 50 Cent to bring me back.”
Although fans may not be happy that his character is no longer on the series, they may just like the news he shared next. “New music is coming, definitely soon. This month, actually. This is my birthday month, so I’m definitely gon’ put something out in a couple weeks.” His birthday being Jan. 20.
He also shared that he and lady, Serayah, are doing just fine.
