In the midst of Megan Thee Stallion vs. Nicki Minaj feud, Kelsey Harris, Megan’s ex-best friend, is ready to unleash a remix of “BigFoot” aimed at the former friend.
On Monday evening (Jan. 29) Nicki Minaj re-posted a video of a known associate of Kelsey remaking the “BigFoot” beat on X with the comment, “Oh I am moving to THIS hunty!!!!!! Lemme get this up as an alternate version ASAP chiiii. Might call it: Kelsey’s Revenge.”
Outside of the production, Kelsey’s verses to the response track have not been revealed. However, the Houston native took to her Instagram Story to share that she has been making music since 2017 and tried to help others but was declined. Kelsey wrote the following:
“Stop hating! We working! Watch how this make mfs tap into the city forreal!!” she wrote. “I was grinding in the city b4 I got on that road. Those that been watching me since 2017 know! When I was on the road, yalls shit was getting turned down every time I tried to make shit happen for y’all! I had to find nice ways to tell y’all it ain’t work out.”
As she embarks on the next chapter of her career, Kelsey reminds her followers she can’t be stopped and delivers harsh words to those who doubted her in the past.
She continued: “I had to say certain things for the h town legends to even be acknowledged forreal! So yea s/o to everyone that turned their back on me, fuck y’all…respectfully. Can’t dim my mf light!! This shit is in my blood! And I don’t owe anyone a mf thang I’m creating a way for me & mine!”
Megan would appear to respond to Kelsey’s comments on X with a since-deleted post with laughing emojis and a video of her listening to her 2022 track, “What’s New,” with friends while putting their middle fingers up on Instagram.
Kelsey held an Instagram Live session after Megan’s post to clarify the beef between the two former friends where she revealed that Megan won’t speak to her.
Nicki Minaj referenced Kelsey on “BigFoot” several times as she responded to Megan Thee Stallion’s new single “HISS.” Nicki spoke on Kelsey accusing Megan of sleeping with Kelsey’s boyfriend and being a fake friend as she raps about Megan not really being shot in her 2020 situation involving Tory Lanez.
“BigFoot” and “HISS” have broken several records and have been the hottest topic in pop culture. Both Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion will be touring in 2024 with Nicki’s Pink Friday 2 tour and Megan’s Hot Girl Summer Tour, which she announced on Monday.
