Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are passing their strong work ethics onto their kids.
During a recent interview with GQ, Kim revealed that her daughter North West, 10, sets up a lemonade stand and charges her friends $20 for a drink. “She gets a huge pitcher and fills it, puts it in her wagon, and goes down to the corner,” the media personality explained. “She has a table and chairs and fans to keep herself cool. She makes signs. She stays there hours and hours. Her friends help, so she splits the money with them. If a random person stops, she will charge them only $2. If she knows you, she will fully scam you. I’ll get calls from my friends saying she charged them $20 for a lemonade. She’ll grab their $20 and say, ‘I don’t have any change.’ ”
Kim and her ex-husband, Kanye, welcomed North back in 2013. She is the eldest of their four children together. Elsewhere during the conversation, Kim added that she allows her kids to live a normal life. “I try to have my kids be as normal as possible and live in a neighborhood where they can ride bikes to their cousins’ houses. I understand that it is not a normal life. We’re never going to have a normal family life no matter what. As a parent, I want to protect them as much as I can,” she said.
