Lil Wayne is not here for this now viral wax figure of him.
A resurfaced picture of Lil Wayne’s wax figure at the Hollywood Wax Museum has gone viral on social media. The figure has bee on display since at least the summer of 2022. According to Weezy, the figure looks nothing like him.
Following the viral picture, Weezy took to Twitter to address the figure. He tweets, “sorry wax museum but dat sh*t ain’t me” he expresses. “You tried tho and I appreciate the effort.”
The comments section flooded with hilarious tweets about the figure. One fan claims “it looks like a fusion of Lil Wayne, Steph Curry, & Bob Marley..” and another, “This could be everyone but Lil Wayne..”
Weezy isn’t the only one displeased with their wax figure. Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson also had some words for his. Similarly to Lil Wayne’s, The Rock’s wax “whitewashed” wax figure went viral on social media after fans say it looks nothing like him.
The Rock, however, plans on getting his wax figure fixed. “For the record, I’m going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grevin Museum, in Paris France so we can work at ‘updating’ my wax figure here with some important details and improvements- starting with my skin color. And next time I’m in Paris, I’ll stop in and have a drink with myself” he says via Instagram.
