Nipsey Hussle’s Murder Case Will Be Featured On A TV Show

A new limited series is underway.

Variety reports, that Behind The Crime, “dives deep into the inner workings of the justice system with gripping cases that give viewers unfiltered access with real case footage.”

The show premieres today (September 20), and the first episode will explore Nipsey Hussle’s murder case. The publication points out that the installment will feature stories from the people involved and “real footage from the tragic event.”

As Nipsey Hussle’s family awaits justice for the slain rapper, his loved ones are dealing with another big legal issue. The “Hussle & Motivate” rapper’s family is fighting for custody of his 14-year-old daughter, Emani.

The late rapper’s ex/mother of Emani, Tanisha Foster, feels the family turned on her, while Nipsey’s family thinks she’s an unfit mother with drug and alcohol problems.

When Nipsey was killed in March 2019, his family obtained guardianship of Emani. Tanisha agreed to the guardianship but demanded custody last year.

In court documents, she demanded custody of Emani and said she only agreed to the initial guardianship due to her “financial limitations” at the time. A Los Angeles Court Superior judge has set a trial date for April 27.

Eric Holder killed Nipsey and a grand jury indicted Eric on May 9, 2019. He’s charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. He pleaded not guilty and faces life if convicted.
