Houston rapper Kyle the Hooligan, is the original voice of the avatar rapper, known as FN Meka, and he’s black. However, in 2019, Anthony Martini and Brandon Le, co founders of the virtual reality record label Factory New, who are not black, helped Kyle devolp the AI launch. After Capitol announced they’re signing FN Meka, black creators felt it was a slap in the face, especially since the rapper used the N word in his music, and it wasn’t always Kyle’s voice behind it, however, Anthony claims the voice behind the robot was always black. Capitol released a statement announcing they severed ties with FN Meka.

In the latest update, Kyle the Hooligan claims Anthony & Brandon promised financial compensation and then “ghosted” him. Anthony wrote a statement replying to Kyle’s claims.
