It seems like St. Louis rap star Sexyy Red is taking Nicki Minaj‘s side in the ongoing feud with Megan Thee Stallion. On Tuesday morning (January 31), she shared a video on her Instagram Story in which she can be seen dancing with Minaj’s “BigFoot” attached to a reel.
Set to delete in 24 hours, Sexyy Red shared an eight-second reel by Instagram user o7cumms showing her twerking and chickenhead-ing on stage. Nicki Minaj’s “Big Foot” is attached to the video and could be perceived as Sexyy Redd siding with the Barbz in Hip-Hop’s biggest beef at the moment.
Sexyy Red and Nicki Minaj previously collaborated on the remix of Redd’s breakout hit, “Pound Town.” In November, it was reported that Nicki provided Sexyy Redd with unreleased tracks that no longer suited her. Since the collaboration, the two have been spotted together multiple times on social media.
Sexyy Redd has not commented on the current beef between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion or the two individually at press time. Sexy Red toured with Drake, another one of the artists Megan Thee Stallion took a shot at on her new single “HISS,” in 2023 as the opening act for his It’s All A Blur Tour with 21 Savage.
Sexyy Red released her anticipated EP, Hood Hottest Princess, in June 2023 on Gamma. The project includes hit songs “Female Gucci Mane,” “Pound Town 2,” and “SkeeYee.” A deluxe version was released in December 2023 and features Juicy J, Nicki Minaj, Chief Keef, G Herbo, and 42 Dugg.
