Shirley Strawberry apologizes after a phone conversation between she and her estranged husband leaked online.
While talking to her husband, Ernest Williams, who is currently incarnated, Shirley reportedly discusses Steve Harvey’s wife Marjorie and her home life. “Marjorie has her own Spa, her own workout room…she could go in there and get massages every day. People come to her house and…work her out and all of that. I was like ‘oh God what a dream.’”
Williams then asked her if she “looks old” in which Strawberry responded that she hasn’t seen her lately but she’s looking good in her pictures. When asked if Marjorie was there when she was visiting the house, she explained, “no she’s not there, if she was there we probably wouldn’t have been all over the house…you know he’s scared…I knew I wasn’t supposed to be in there but he brought us in.”“He was happy to see us…he always invites us over there and we don’t never go…because I don’t know, if she’s there…you know. She’s, um….nope….she looks at us as ‘the help’ you know…it is what it is.”
Steve Harvey and Shirley discussed the rumors while on their radio show The Steve Harvey Morning Show. Shirley apologized for her comments and says it just her “running” her mouth in what she thought was a private conversation and not trying to add what Steve and Marjorie are already going through.
Steve addresses Shirley’s comments. He says we live in a “social-media climate” and everybody’s idea is to “tear someone down for clicks” and he won’t be adding onto the tearing Shirley down.
