Tekashi 6ix9ine received more bad news after getting arrested in New York City on an outstanding warrant.
According to Page Six, the rapper faced a Manhattan judge in hopes that he would be let go on bail. Judge Ann Scherzer was not thinking the same thing, and denied his bail.
“I’ve been very remorseful for my lack of responsibility,” he said. “In the short time I’ve been incarcerated, I’ve learned my lesson to be more respectful.”
He will now be in jail until July 20 when he will then be extradited to Texas.
His mother reportedly cried openly in the court room following the decision.
Tekashi is being accused of choking a teenager at a mall in Texas.
