RIP DJ Kay Slay:
Our very own DJ, Kay Slay, passed away earlier this week. He was only 55. DJ Kay Slay was known to the world as the Drama King! When he first arrived on the hip-hop scene, he was a graffiti artist and became one of the biggest in NYC. In the 2000’s he became one of the most prominent DJs in the mixtape world. He released multiple albums and worked with top artists like Jadakiss, Fab, Nicki Minaj, Foxy Brown, and more. DJ Kay Slays public memorial service is this weekend, and he’ll be truly missed.
A$AP Rocky Arrested + Released:
Asap Rocky is out on bond after getting arrested at Los Angeles international airport on Wednesday in connection with a shooting in November. According to the police, a victim accused asap of shooting at him four times which resulted in the victim’s hand getting grazed. A$AP has court on August 17.
Another Woman Accused Trey Songz of Sexual Misconduct:
Another woman accused Trey Songz of sexual misconduct, and she has proof. Megan Johnson released a video of a VIP event Trey hosted in 2013 in CT. In the video, Trey exposes the woman’s breast and then continually yells “t*tties” after. Johnson is seeking $5 million from Trey to drop the case. He has until May 5 to respond.
Pooh Shiesty Sentenced + Speaks Out.
Pooh Shiesty was sentenced to five years and three months for his gun conspiracy conviction. The charges stem from a confrontation at a Florida hotel in October 2020. It resulted in a man getting shot in the buttocks.
Mike Tyson Punched A Man On A Plane:
An unruly, intoxicated passenger on a jet blue flight harassed Mike Tyson and caught a beat down. The unnamed man sat behind Mike and through a water bottle at the boxing legend! The video shows Mike repeatedly punching the passenger in the face. The San Francisco Police Department detained them both, but the man refused to cooperate with the investigation.
“They Are Bringing Grown Men Home,” Michelle Obama Shares Updates On Sasha & Malia Obama:
Michelle Obama spoke about her daughters, Sasha & Malia Obama. She said they’re all grown up, bringing men home, thriving in college, and living adult lives. The girls were 10 and 8 when their dad Barack Obama became America’s first black President in 2008. Now they are 23 and 20. Shasta is also reportedly dating a famed actor’s son.
50 Cent vs. Starz:
50’s ongoing war with Starz continues. Fif is calling all BMF & POWER universe fans to cancel their subscriptions with Starz until the network officially renews his shows!
