Timbaland is in hot water after sharing his thoughts on Britney Spears’ new memoir, specifically about her words on her relationship with Justin Timberlake.
During a recent panel interview, the producer extraordinaire who has previously worked closely with Justin Timberlake, was asked to comment on Spears’ memoir, The Woman In Me. He responded, “She going crazy, right?”
In the memoir, Spears detailed that she felt like Timberlake used the song, Cry Me a River which was produced by Timbaland,to tear her down for cheating on him. She explained that in all actuality, he often cheated on her during their relationship.
He continued to explain that he doesn’t blame Spears for sharing her story.
“You know what? We live in the age of social media and … everybody want[s] to go viral,” he said. “I get it because that’s the way you make money [is to] go viral.”
Dedicated fans of Spears are now calling for Timbaland’s cancellation and are demanding an apology from the producer.
