Yesterday (March 23), Usher jumped on Instagram to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his fourth studio album, Confessions, with his loyal fans. Released on March 23, 2004, the project boasted hits like “Let It Burn,” “My Boo,” and “Yeah.”
The 45-year-old singer noted that his fans’ support over the years has been “nothing short of incredible.” He added, “Thank you for rocking with me through every lyric, every beat, and every confession. Thank you to each and every important collaborator that was apart of this very special project that helped mold and shape my career as an artist. Without you, Confessions wouldn’t be the masterpiece it is.”
Confessions would go on to be certified platinum over 14 times by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and sell over 15 million copies globally, making it the highest RIAA-certified album by a male soloist released this century.
