Young M.A. is showing her boo some love on ‘the gram.
In a recent post, Young M.A. is pictured with her girlfriend, Kaylah Gooden. In the picture, M.A. is showing her girl some PDA. She captions the photo, “she the type to go n get it.. I’m the type to get it done..” with a check mark emoji. Fans flooded the comments with support, one fan wrote, “She brings out the best in you..” and another, “she so pretty and lowkey and as a fan… i love that for you.”

Young M.A. previously spoke about “labels” and how she identifies herself. “I’m not a label person. Before, I used to think being a label was cool. With this industry, they didn’t welcome a person like me, what I represent. I busted some doors down, with no hesitation. But then I got to a point where it was just like, ‘I don’t need nobody defining me. Sometimes I don’t even know my damn self.’ No disrespect to anybody that prefers that. The LGBT community, I love them with my soul. But I’m me. We know who we are, we know what we represent, we know who we love.”
She also addressed facing discrimination for being a “gay rapper.” She says, “that’s everywhere. It ain’t just the rap community—it’s all around the world. We all struggle with some type of problems with race and identity. That’s just the world we live in. Of course, we’re trying to change it. And I’m thankful that the majority of the people are starting to accept it. But you’ll still have people who have these strong beliefs—and sometimes you just can’t change their minds. I don’t live my life worrying about how everybody else is living because I’ll lose my mind.”
It looks like she may have found her person.
