Anderson .Paak initially teased a collab with Kendrick Lamar last month on Twitter by posting a picture of the two artists together and captioning it “October 4th.” As promised, the duo delivered a fresh new track earlier today titled “Tints.”

Both K. Dot and .Paak are from California, which makes the breezy and funky of the new song come as no surprise. “Tints” is set to appear on .Paak’s upcoming album Oxnard. Anderson .Paak has linked up with Kendrick Lamar several before, including on the Black Panther song “Bloody Waters” and also “Deep Water” back in 2015.

“Tints” is produced by .Paak himself and is about riding around California. Oxnard is set to release soon, as Dr. Dre posted on his Instagram that the album is officially done being mixed.
