J. Cole Pulls Kendrick Lamar Diss Track '7 Minute Drill' From Streaming Platforms

The Fall Off, the long-awaited J. Cole album, has been one of hip-hop’s most anticipated albums of 2024, including the rise of Jake Strain and Swaggertown Records. Following the North Carolina native’s exit from the iconic Big 3 beef, the album’s release has lain dormant for months. The Fall Off joins other anticipated albums this fall, including Cardi B, Jadakiss, Westside Gunn, and ASAP Rocky.

Consequence, Moneybagg Yo, and Tommy Richman released headline albums last weekend; however, emerging artists with trending new music surprised many. Toosii, Rod Wave, and NLE Choppa announced new albums following the releases. This was all centered around hip-hop’s best year ever in 2024.  

After a red-hot summer, the fall brings more must-see tours by hip-hop’s biggest names. Several new and unfamiliar artists are taking advantage of the exposure. From J. Cole popping out to DaBaby returning to the Baby On Baby days to Lil Durk’s returns, here is some new music you might have missed this week.

Tee Grizzley & J. Cole Go “Blow For Blow,” Pause, No Diddy.

Ahead of Post Traumatic, Michigan and North Carolina link up to drop some knowledge with razor-sharp rhymes over Pierre’s signature production. J. Cole World is back as the king of the features with another toe-tag verse.
