50 Cent and other Louisiana rap stars exchanged words with popular Shreveport recording artist Hurricane Chris over comments about the recent Humor and Harmony Festival.

On Sunday (August 18), a clip surfaced of the “Ay Bay Bay” hitmaker complaining about 50 Cent allegedly not booking any Louisiana artists for the event. In the clip, Hurricane Chris addresses 50, saying:

You threw a motherf*cking concert in Louisiana and didn’t book no Louisiana legends, didn’t put no bankroll in any Louisiana legends’ pockets, but you paid the police half a million dollars. “What kind of b*tch *ss sh*t is that?”

Hurricane’s rant continued as he claimed that the mogul only came to Shreveport to capitalize on the land cost. “Shreveport had cheap ass land, he came and bought that shit,” he added.

Before 50 would respond, several Louisiana artists who were a part of the festival, such as Fredo Bang, would address Hurricane Chris’s claims and scold him for the misinformation.

50 Cent responded to Chris on Sunday evening with a video clip from the classic hip-hop film “Juice” with the caption addressed to him, “Hurricane Flex boy ya shit is wack, the fuck you think you @FredoBang [face with raised eye emoji] ya shit gets no play in my ride. LOL.”

Hurricane Chris would respond with a second video, he replied, “Fuck you, you big dummy. You just proved my point. You don’t know shit about the city,” he snapped. “Shreveport, the n-gga just said I got one song.

“I got a whole catalog of shit. Me and Boosie got a mixtape, I’ve been dropping music in Shreveport since ’05, I’ve been touring in Louisiana and all these Texas areas since ’05. Dumb-ass n-gga don’t know nothing about our culture! You just a culture vulture-ass n-gga that’s seen some shit for sale and you wanted to come profit.”

Hurricane Chris wouldn’t be the only person 50 would address about the comedy festival over the weekend. On Saturday, 50 would address comedic actress Luenell over comments she made in a recent interview about not being booked for the festival.

Resharing the interview, 50 wrote, “Proof you can’t make everybody happy,” he wrote. “I love Luenell’s work that’s why I had them put her in Ghost. We saw her big ass was booked already, so we didn’t reach out. You think I didn’t want Monique, Sommore, or Amy Schumer they on FIRE WTF.”.
