50 Cent waves the white flag in his ongoing legal battle with ex-flame, Daphne Joy.

TMZ reports that Fif is moving to drop his defamation lawsuit against ex, Daphne Joy. The Get Rich or Die Tryin‘ rapper recently filed new legal documents requesting the judge to dismiss the case without prejudice. While the judge hasn’t officially signed off yet, it’s expected to be a mere formality, according to the outlet.

We previously reported that the mogul had filed a defamation lawsuit against his child’s mother, Daphne Joy, following her claims of sexual assault and domestic abuse, according to TMZ.

In court documents filed on May 6, 50 Cent C (real name Curtis Jackson), accused Joy (born Daphne Joy Narvaez), of publicly alleging on Instagram that he raped and physically abused her. The lawsuit claimed these accusations were made in retaliation for 50 Cent’s pursuit of sole custody of their son, Sire. He sought up to one million dollars in damages, along with a court order to prevent further defamatory remarks.

“Despite being given ample opportunity to retract a false and malicious retaliatory accusation, Ms. Narvaez has shamefully chosen to interfere with her 11-year-old son’s relationship with his loving father by falsely calling him a ‘rapist,’” Reena Jain and Blank Rome, 50 Cent’s attorneys, told TMZ.

They added: “The motivation behind this appears to be Ms. Narvaez’s unfortunate entanglement and misguided loyalty to Mr. Combs, who we believe to be underwriting this attack and whom Mr. Jackson has been warning Ms. Narvaez and others about for many years.”

In her March Instagram post, Joy accused 50 Cent of rape and physical assault, writing, “Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me.”

According to 50’s lawsuit, Daphne’s Instagram post received over 22,000 likes and sparked a wave of negative online comments directed at him, significantly damaging his business reputation and child custody case.
