As reported by TMZ, 50 Cent has signed a $15 million residency deal with Planet Hollywood Resorts & Casino for six shows in Viva Las Vegas.
50 Cent would share the news with fans on Instagram, captioning: “My first Vegas residency is going to be an experience, you don’t wanna miss this! I’ll be doing 6 Exclusive shows December 27 – January 4 at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Tickets on sale Saturday.”
A Vegas source informed the media outlet that the residency will begin in December 2025. One of the six shows will be an exclusive New Year’s Eve celebration presented by the mogul’s spirit brand, Sire Spirits. The residency’s title is “50 Cent: In Da Club,” which pays tribute to his hugely successful 2003 debut single that celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023.
According to Touring Data, the 50’s Final Lap world tour brought in over $100 million, with over 1.7 million tickets sold. It is one of the highest-grossing hip-hop tours ever. The tour’s success was attributed to the 50’s debut album, which was certified nine times platinum by the RIAA.
The Las Vegas residency promises performances of classic songs like “Magic Stick,” “Candy Shop,” “Many Men,” “21 Questions,” and, of course, “In Da Club.” 50 Cent’s residency joins other hip-hop residencies by Planet Hollywood, including DJ Cassidy and Black Eyed Peas.
In other news, a 50 Cent-themed escape room is set to launch in Shreveport, Louisiana this fall. The unique experience called “Get Rich or Read Trying” delivers an escape room experience based on the mogul’s life and career. It kicks off October 21, and runs through Friday, November 21.
Participation is free, but you’ll need to sign up for a time slot either during the library’s “Fall into the West” festival or by calling (318) 635-0883. An adult must accompany anyone under 16.
