50 Cent is proving that he loves the kids.
At a charity event in Houston, 50 Cent revealed his philanthropic side by raising an$500,000 for the Houston Children’s Charity. He auctioned off two oversized bottles of his Le Chemin du Roi champagne which blew the audience away.
Taking to Instagram, 50 expressed his appreciation for the charity work. He also joked about how fast the auctioneer was calling out bids.
“Houston children’s charity is an amazing organization,” 50’s post read. “ I helped raise 500,000 thousand for the kids last night i had a ball.’
He also noted that the winner of the bid was “rich as motherf**ka.”
The gala event raised more than $6 million in total which was a new record for the organization. Alongside 50, other celebrities such as Houston Texans legend Andre Johnson and actor Jeremy Renner were in attendance.
Since relocating to Houston, 50 has immersed himself in the community. Last Christmas, 50 donated $850,000 worth of toys at a holiday event to help the City Wide Club achieve its goal of giving away 100,000 toys to children in the city.
“You make more, you give more back,” he said at a press conference. “They already have the foundation in this community built, so I was able to just make the collaboration, so you know it’s real as soon as you get in there.”
Outside of his philanthropic efforts, 50 recently inked a $15 million residency deal for his first residency. Titled “50 Cent: In Da Club,” the “In Da Club” rapper will perform at the Planet Hollywood Resorts & Casino for six shows in Viva Las Vegas.
“My first Vegas residency is going to be an experience, you don’t wanna miss this! I’ll be doing 6 Exclusive shows December 27 – January 4 at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino,” 50 wrote on Instagram.
The performances are set to begin in December 2025. One of the six shows will be an exclusive New Year’s Eve celebration presented by the mogul’s spirit brand, Sire Spirits.
