Colorado Republican Lauren Boebert had 21 questions for 50 Cent during his visit at Capitol Hill on Wednesday. The two shared a photo that would spread across social media like wildfire.
Boebert shared the photo on social media, referencing lines from the “21 Questions” song from the iconic Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and adding a caption.“I’d still love you if you flipped burgers at Burger King @50Cent, I used to do that myself!. Thanks for the photo, great to meet you!
50 also shared the photo with Boebert, which caused it to go viral, with the charming caption, “Lauren Boebert, Colorado Republican making the white house look good.”
The 48-year-old entertainment mogul visited Congress with Civil Rights attorney Ben Crump to advocate for Black entrepreneurs and promote greater representation in the alcohol industry. 50 Cent,, who owns the liquor company Sire Spirits, took the opportunity to meet with the outspoken Republican representative from Colorado. The resulting photograph, posted on X, quickly went viral.
The post has since been viewed over 3.2 million times, sparking a wide range of reactions.
One user commented, “@laurenboebert has been an embarrassment for her voters and she’s going to lose in the next election!” Another expressed disappointment in Jackson, writing, “You disappoint me, Curtis. Got a taste of that MAGAt money, didn’t you? Sold out your principles. You’re now a member of traitors and terrorists. History will no longer remember you for your music. You’ll be remembered for this.”
Others were critical of rappers engaging in politics, with one user stating, “This is why I don’t pay rappers any attention when it comes to politics.”
Per usual, some responses were positive. One supporter wrote, “This is what’s up [fire emoji].”
Another praised Jackson, saying, “Artist of the decade @50cent! World-class rapper, successful entrepreneur, author, and self-made multimillionaire @50cent is a national treasure.”
Another user humorously added, “Okay, re-followed [rolling on the floor laughing emoji].”
Lauren Boebert made headlines in September 2023 when she was ejected from a production of Beetlejuice: The Musical for alleged inappropriate behavior, including vaping in the theater. She later issued a public apology.
Seizing the moment, 50 Cent took to X to clarify his stance. Posting a picture of himself outside the Capitol Building, he wrote, “Wait, wait, guys I took pictures with everyone and all you seem to care about is Lauren [shrug emoji] what did she do in a dark theater that hasn’t been done, my God! Hey I don’t have chlamydia by the way. LOL.”
