50 Cent has filed a lawsuit against a viral jeweler for making knockoffs of his custom pieces.

According to court documents obtained by TheWrap, 50 accused actor Maksud Agadjani of “trademark infringement and unfair competition” in the 18-page complaint.

“Defendants, who are in the jewelry business, willfully and knowingly created imitations of an original necklace designed exclusively for Jackson; used Jackson’s name, image, and other intellectual property rights to mislead consumers into believing Defendants’ reproductions are affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Jackson; and continue to use Jackson’s name, image, and other intellectual property rights for commercial gain,” the lawsuit states.

The suit alleged that while Agadjani had no relationship with 50, he misled consumers by using the rapper’s image and likeness on social media.

“Jackson did not purchase his necklace from Defendants and Jackson has never authorized Defendants to capitalize on his goodwill and reputation in order to promote their goods and services,” the complaint states.

Although 50 contacted Agadjani to request that he stop selling the products, the jeweler  “brazenly” replied to the G-Unit founder: “@50Cent yo don’t you got better things to worry about,”

He also continued to use of 50’s likeness to “advertise, market and sell their jewelry.”

The suit goes on to say that between August 2024 and October 2024, Agadjani who plays the character Yussi in Adam Sandler’s  “Uncut Gems,” showed off the fake necklace design. One of the posts was titled “Selling 50 Cent’s Jewelry.”

In one video, Agadjani is seen holding up an image of 50 donning a custom piece as poses with Drake in his advertisement.

50 is seeking no less than $5 Million in damages for “using, imitating, or copying his name.”
