A$AP Rocky says he knew Rihanna would be the mother of his children since he was young.
During a recent interview with W Magazine, Rocky explains, “I knew from when we were younger. We both did, I think. So it was only right when we got older. We just kind of reconnected.”
Rih and Rocky share two sons together. Rza and Riot. Rocky says of their dynamics, “I think Rza is going to keep to himself. He’s an introvert. Riot’s an extrovert—he’s just like his mom.”
He continued: “Rza is more so like his dad, like me. And he’s my twin. He got his mom’s forehead, but he got everything else from me. I love my boy’s big forehead! I loved it on his mother. Listen to ‘Jukebox Joints.’?
Rihanna also previously opened up about her relationship with the rapper. The beauty and music mogul met her beau in 2012 when they collaborated on a remix of her 2012 single “Cockiness (Love It)” and later performed at the 2012 VMAs.
“We saw fashion the same. We saw creative the same- We ended up in the same circles a lot,” said Rihanna. “And past that, when we grew up, we ended up supporting each other’s brands and products and creative all the time. I would wear his s—, he would show up to my launches.”
“We knew what we’re capable of, and the trouble that we could bring to each other’s lives. We can make or break each other’s hearts. And so, we started dating with a lot of caution,” she added.
Elsewhere in the conversation Rihanna explains, “COVID sped up our relationship, which I felt like God knew we needed because we were going to start a family,” said Rih. “And had it not been for COVID, we would’ve taken a lot more time to get comfortable with each other, to even know that we were ready.”
