Over the weekend, A$AP Rocky gave the audience a sneak peak at one of his songs off his forthcoming project, Don’t Be Dumb, where fans speculated that he may have dissed Travis Scott. According to reports, Rocky performed his song “Taylor Swift,” where he seemingly blusters about taking somebody’s “b” in regard to robbing his swag. “First you stole my flow, so I stole your bitch/ Then you stole my style, I need at least like 10 percent/ All due disrespect, I hope you take offense,” said the “Praise The Lord (Da Shine)” rapper.
Rocky’s nameless, concealed diss fueled fan postulation, possibly aimed at Travis Scott. For years, gossip spread about tension between A$AP Rocky and Travis Scott, as some claimed that Pretty Flacko inspired La Flame’s psychedelic sound. Back in 2016, A$AP Nast of A$AP Mob called out Scott for swagger-jacking. Rocky responded in a HOT 97 interview, challenging everyone to judge for themselves: “Let the people decide if he a biter or if he authentic.” Rocky’s “stole your b” line possibly nods to La Flame’s rumored 2015 romance with Rihanna, as she now awaits her second child with the Harlem artist.
In the hip-hop world, some believe A$AP Rocky took aim at Chris Brown, Rihanna’s ex, in his track “Taylor Swift,” after previously throwing shade at Breezy in his 2022 song “D.M.B.,” stating, “I don’t beat my bitch, I need my bitch.” Additionally, fans believed he may have thrown shade at Drake, who claims, “She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old,” he announced during the 2016 MTV VMA’s.
When Rihanna announced she was pregnant with her and Rocky’s first child last year,
Drizzy didn’t appear to take the news well, as he unfollowed both artists on Instagram. Last
week, A$AP Rocky got back to promoting “Don’t Be Dumb” with his latest single “RIOT
(Rowdy Pipe’n),” co-produced with Pharrell. The album’s drop date remains under wraps
