Amber Rose has some interesting thoughts regarding Beyoncé’s speech at a Houston Rally for Kamala Harris. After The Shade Room posted clips from the rally, Rose quickly hopped into the comment section. Rose accuses the Renaissance singer of copying her speech from the Republican National Convention (RNC) held earlier this year. “She wanna be me so bad. Literally took my whole speech [eye-roll emoji].
In July, the Republican Party held its annual convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Several other entertainers along with Amber Rose were brought on stage as guest speakers. Throughout her speech, Amber Rose shared what made her a Donald Trump supporter. While she initially thought he was racist, after doing some research to prove her father wrong, she thought differently. Rose says she then “let go of her fear of judgment.” The former ex of Kanye West realized that “Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re Black, white, gay, or straight, it’s all love.”
Beyoncé endorses Kamala Harris for president
“I’m not here as a celebrity… I’m not here as a politician…I’m here as a mother. A mother who cares deeply about my children,” said Beyoncé looking into a crowd of her fellow Houstonians. On Friday (Oct.25), the singer joined her mother, Tina Knowles, and Kelly Rowland to support Kamala Harris at a rally in her hometown. The electricity in the room was already palpable, and once the 32-Grammy-Award-winner, hit the stage, the room erupted.
Freedom was the main topic that night, especially regarding the freedom of women and young girls. “Imagine our daughters growing up and seeing what’s possible with no ceilings. No limitations.” She continued: “Imagine our grandmothers. Imagine what they must feel right now…those who have lived to see this historic day. Even those who are no longer physically with us. Imagine all their sacrifice. The sacrifices made so we can witness the strength of a woman.”
