Amber Rose says she is far past being “in love” with her ex-husband, Wiz Khalifa.
During a recent interview on the Tam’Ron Hall show, Amber says she and Wiz Khalifa are best friends and far removed from their previous relationship. When asked why she was so open about the demise of their relationship, she explains, “that’s me just not being politically correct anymore,” she began. “Usually celebrities won’t do that because they don’t want the whole internet to say something and so for me, I just need to be honest. It’s just the truth.”
She continued, “I think that me and Wiz are so best friends now, that — we’re so far past being in love that I can say that now, right? It’s not like anything that we would circle back to or anything. We’re just friends and co-parents.”
Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa began their relationship in 2011, got engaged in 2012 and married the next year. Amber filed for divorce in 2014. The two share a 10-year-old son together.
