Angel Reese shuts down pregnancy rumors.

We previously reported that the WBNA player revealed that she has a wrist injury- which will end the season early for her. She explained via social media, “What a year. I never would have imagined the last bucket of my rookie season would be a 3 but maybe that was God saying give them a taste of what they will be seeing more of in Year 2 lol.”

The post continued: “through it all, I have showed that I belong in this league even when no one else believed. All I have ever wanted was to come into the W and make an impact. I can confidently say I have done that and will strive to keep doing so. I’m filled with emotions right now that I have a season ending injury, but also filled with so much gratitude for what is next. Although this is God’s timing and not mine, I am finally able to give myself a physical and mental break.”

“God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers.” You’ll still see me being the biggest cheerleader on the sideline! And Unrivaled league, see you soon!”

Angel Reese Responds To Rumors:

After Reese revealed she would be out of the rest of the season, rumors began to circulate the internet claiming that the ball player may be faking the injury or even pregnant. In which she shut both of those allegations down.

“Did I fake an injury?” Reese asked. “Let’s be real. I have literally played with my ankle like a golf ball when we played against Iowa… You know I’m hurt when I can’t play. They gonna have to tell me like, ‘You shut down. You can’t play.’ That’s what they was telling me yesterday.

“Obviously they gave me the options to play, and deal with the pain as tolerated,” Reese continued. “But it’s not worth it… I want to have a long career in the league, I want to play basketball for a while. So it’s not worth it.”
