Angel Reese’s rooking season is ending a bit earlier than expected after the WNBA star reveals she’s dealing with a major wrist injury. Reese regretfully shared the news with sports fans on Saturday (Sept.7) via X. “What a year. I never would have imagined the last bucket of my rookie season would be a 3 but maybe that was God saying give them a taste of what they will be seeing more of in Year 2 lol [teary-eyed emoji],” the post begins. “Through it all, I have showed that I belong in this league even when no one else believed. All I have ever wanted was to come into the W and make an impact.”

Reese admits while she’s overcome with emotion, she’s also excited to see what next season will bring her. “I can confidently say I have done that and will strive to keep doing so. I’m filled with emotions right now that I have a season ending injury, but also filled with so much gratitude for what is next.” The 22-year-old phenom adds, “Although this is God’s timing and not mine, I am finally able to give myself a physical and mental break.

Angel Reese Addresses G Herbo Dating Rumors

“God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. You’ll still see me being the biggest cheerleader on the sideline! And Unrivaled league, see you soon! Rumors have been circulating that Angel Reese and G Herbo might be dating. On her Unapologetically Angel podcast, the ball player sets the record straight on her friendship with the rapper.

“When I tell you that I can call G Herbo to this day. That’s somebody if I ever need anything in Chicago, he told me when I got drafted, if I ever need anything in Chicago, he’ll make sure I’m straight. And it wasn’t even like flirting or anything, it was straight off like, ‘I got you sis,’ ’cause I’m new to the city,” Reese added.
