A bartender confirmed that Justin Timberlake only had one drink prior to his DWI.

According to People Magazine, a bartender at Sag Harbor’s American Hotel, where Timberlake and friends were hanging out before he got arrested, confirmed that he only had “one martini.”

Another employee tells PEOPLE, “If he was drinking more, it wasn’t here.”

We previously reported that Justin Timberlake had been arrested in the Hamptons. Timberlake was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The incident happened Monday night in Sag Harbor, New York.

According to a source, “he was at dinner with friends last night,” the source tells E! News. “As he left the restaurant, there was a patrol car seemingly stationed near the restaurant. He was stopped and, was arrested. Nobody was hurt.”

In a police report the arresting officer explains, “a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests,” per the report.

The singer is currently on his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour. He addressed the arrest during one of his recent shows. “We’ve been together through ups and downs, lefts and rights,” Timberlake said in a video while on stage. “It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now.”

“I know sometimes I’m hard to love, but you keep on loving me and I love you right back. Thank you so much!”

In another video he expressed, “so many of you come up to me and say, ‘I grew up with you, man,’ ” he said, “… I want each and every one of you to know I’ve grown up with you.”

“You have been such a big and beautiful part of my life and sometimes I can’t find the words to show my gratitude that you guys just keep riding with me and riding with me,” he added.
