Billboard recently released its “Top Artist Of The 21 Century” List. Despite the many artists considered, Drake, Rihanna, and Eminem rose to the top. Drake has the highest ranking of the trio at No.2, Rihanna follows shortly behind at No.3, and Eminem rounds out the list at No.5. Taylor Swift and Post Malone also made the list at No.1 and No.4, respectively.

Other artists that cracked the top 10 include The Weeknd (No.6), Beyoncé (No.7), Justin Bieber (No.8), Bruno Mars (No.9), and Usher (No.10). According to the outlet’s website, the list “reflects performance on weekly Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100 charts dated Jan. 1, 2000, through Dec. 28, 2024.”

Beyoncé Named The Greatest Pop Star Of The 21st Century

Beyoncé is “The Greatest Pop Star Of The 21st Century,” according to Billboard. The publication said she’s “the century’s biggest pop star based on her full 25 years of influence, evolution, and impact.” Her nearly three-decade career, timeless music, and impact were just a few reasons she was selected. “Few artists this period can match her in any of the most critical basic categories of pop stardom.” Billboard continued: “Commercial success, performance abilities, critical acclaim and accolades, industry influence, iconic cultural moments – and absolutely no one can equal her in all of them.”

In an Instagram post, Billboard hailed “Queen Bey” as the quintessential innovator in music with her one-of-a-kind style. Beyoncé‘s influence was on full display as she represented her hometown of Houston during the game against the Baltimore Ravens. Beyoncé’s halftime performance, which fans dubbed “The Beyoncé Bowl,” scored an impressive 27 million viewers— making it the most-watched NFL Christmas game since 2001. Throughout her nearly 15-minute performance, the singer brought her Cowboy Carter album to life.
