Marvel’s new studio film isn’t even in theaters yet and it’s already breaking box office ticket sales!
According to Fandango, one the most anticipated films of the year, Black Panther, won’t be in theaters until February 2018, but it already set a record on for presale tickets.
The pre-sale tix have only been available on their site since Monday and its already sold the most in all of Marvel’s movie history. Captain America: Civil War previously held that record.
If you’re trying to get tickets, my best suggestion is to buy them now while you can, or if you can rather. This is already being proven difficult that since even one of the film’s stars, Lupita Nyong’o says she can’t even get a ticket.
Clearly people aren’t bothered by Marvel creator Stan Lee’s recent sexual harassment allegation and are supporting the movie. There is no reason why the movie should suffer right? But would this same thing happen if Stan Lee was found to be a racist? I’m just playing devil’s advocate here.
