Boosie Badazz is eager to join the Hot Boys, inspired by their long-awaited reunion onstage over the weekend. Reports indicate the Lil Weezyana Festival at New Orleans’ Smoothie King Center saw Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Turk, and B.G. perform together as a full group for the first time since 2000. The following day, Boosie turned to X, staking his claim as an opener if a tour is on the horizon. He stated, “PUT ME ON DA TOUR!! IM GO TURN DAT BITCH UP #Louisianadatruth.”

The Hot Boys brought the crowd to life with hits like “Get Your Roll On,” “I Need A Girl,” and “Neighborhood Superstar,” blending group classics with solo tracks. Cash Money mogul Birdman and iconic producer Mannie Fresh joined them onstage for select songs, including “I Need A Hot Girl” and “Project B***h.” While fans have awaited a Hot Boys reunion for nearly a year, the path to their Lil WeezyAna return has been anything but straightforward.

Hot Boys Reunion in Jeopardy as B.G. and Turk Clash

In July, tensions erupted between B.G. and Turk after Birdman’s Cash Money reunion at Essence Festival, where B.G., Juvenile, and Mannie Fresh shared the spotlight—but Turk was left out. (Lil Wayne performed separately). After the event, Gizzle didn’t hold back, directing pointed remarks at his former groupmate, voicing, “It’s only one n-gga ain’t in this bitch, ya heard me? He brought that on hisself, ya heard me? N-gga did a bunch of ho shit and can’t take it back. He gotta fault his self for not being here.” “I know there’s gonna be a lot of people that’s like, ‘Oh, well, such and such, whoop de whoop.’ The n-gga know what he did last summer. And I’ma just leave it like that.” Turk then fired back, telling B.G. to “sit his muthaf*****g ass down somewhere” after stating his decision to sit out a Hot Boys reunion.

In a recent statement, the “Bling Bling” rapper minimized Turk’s significance in the Hot Boys, likening him to former Destiny’s Child member LeToya Luckett and asserting that his absence wouldn’t impact a potential reunion. Amidst the friction, Juvenile later expressed optimism about the Hot Boys reuniting but emphasized the need for the group to “sit down and have a conversation” to resolve their differences. Juvie also revealed that a new Hot Boys album is on the way, marking their first release since 2003’s Let ‘Em Burn.
