Ryan Garcia teases rap song ahead of his upcoming fight with Devin Haney at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on April 20. The 25-year-old boxing star shared a track snippet titled “One Call Away” with fans on X Wednesday evening (March 13).
“Super rough draft but was going for a 90’s vibe,’ tweets Garcia. ‘I don’t know what do you think. Serious comments only please. Shoutout to Madelyn.”
Garcia’s lyrics warn off other men from his female companion. “Play with my baby, we scrap. The way that I punch is no cap,” he says.
There have been frequent questions about King Ryan’s actions leading up to his fight on April 20. Recent bizarre incidents have involved Ryan, including an awkward podcast interview with Bobbi Althoff, X-Space arguments with Jake Paul, revelations of sexual assault by a family member, and conspiracy theories.
Garcia and Haney will fight for the WBC super lightweight title. Garcia’s record is 24-1, while Haney is undefeated at 31-0. Garcia is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.
