Busta Rhymes continues to make waves this year, now revealing his involvement in the highly anticipated reboot of the cult classic, Naked Gun.
Deadline reports that Paramount’s forthcoming reboot has added four more names to its star-studded lineup: Liza Koshy, WWE’s Cody Rhodes, CCH Pounder, and Busta Rhymes.
While roles remain a mystery, Rhodes is said to be making a cameo. Liam Neeson leads as Detective Frank Drebin, with Paul Walter Hauser as his partner, Ed. And yes, we’re still waiting to see what mischief Pamela Anderson and Danny Huston will bring, but it’s clear Kevin Durand will be stirring up trouble as the film’s villain.
Following the buzz of Busta’s casting in the Naked Gun reboot, the “Break Ya Neck” rapper quickly hopped onto Instagram to express his excitement.
“EVERYDAY SINGLE DAY I’M GONNA MAKE SURE YOU SEE ME AND HEAR ME SAY IT!! YOU ALREADY KNOW THE MANTRA!! THE BLESSINGS DON’T SO WE AIN’T NEVER GONNA STOP!!,” he exclaimed.
“T’S OFFICIAL!! THE DRAGON 🐉 IS A PART OF THE INCREDIBLE CAST OF THE NEW “NAKED GUN” MOVIE!!, he continued, urging support from the community far and wide. “WHAT A BIRTHDAY WEEK!! WE GOT A WHOLE LOT A CELEBRATING TO DO!! I NEED THE WHOLE WORLD TO COME AND CELEBRATE WITH US!!

In April, Grammy-winning rapper Missy Elliott revealed she’ll soon be hitting the road for an Out of This World Tour and she’s not going solo. Joining her for the cosmic journey are none other than her longtime collaborators Busta Rhymes, Timbaland, and Ciara.
Beginning July 4 in Vancouver, the 24 city tour will kickoff in Vancouver before making stops in cities like Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, New York and Toronto before closing things out on August 22 in Rosemont, Illinois.
