Cam’ron had some playful advice for Hollywood legend Denzel Washington, suggesting it’s time for him to ease up on the high-octane action roles.
On Tuesday (September 3), Killa Cam aired his frustrations on his It Is What It Is podcast, calling out Hollywood for its creativity drought and using Rambo 6: New Blood as the ultimate “what’s old is new again” poster child.
“I’m not watching Rocky beat Rambo at 78 years old, man. I’m not watching that, bro. I refuse,” the 48-year-old begins at the 21:35 mark.
He also took aim at Denzel Washington’s Equalizer franchise, expressing skepticism about aging action stars: “I love Denzel Washington as an actor; I’m not watching him do karate at 71 years old and all that. I love him, he’s a great actor, but when n-ggas start doing karate in they 70s, I can’t believe the movie. I can’t fuck with Denzel being the Equalizer at 70.”
Earlier this week, the dynamic duo tackled the topic of weight loss after Ma$e’s dramatic slim-down became the talk of the town.
On Monday (September 1), Cam’ron and Ma$e returned to the airwaves for another episode of their hit show, and Ma$e kicked things off with a blazing freestyle over Common’s iconic “The Corner.” “That’s how you feeling this morning?” Cam asked, clearly impressed. “My n-gga came in blazing this morning.”
Afterward, Cam couldn’t help but point out Ma$e’s new look, praising his fresh haircut and dramatic 70-pound weight loss. Teasing his co-host, the “Oh Boy” rapper joked, “You took the needle,” referring to the popular weight loss drug, Ozempic.
A claim Ma$e quickly shut down, explaining, “I signed up with this coach named Ricky Moore, that’s a professional bodybuilder, and he just put me on the alkaline diet…”
He added, I’m only eating fruit, vegetables, and water for now.”
