Cardi B hits back at Joe Budden, accusing him of fixating on her career and personal life after he criticized her upcoming album rollout. She also alleged that Budden received a lap dance from her and engaged in cocaine use, among other claims.

During a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, the “Pump It Up” artist speculated that fans might “never get another Cardi album again,” pointing out that she has yet to release a follow-up to her 2018 debut, Invasion of Privacy.

Adding to the conversation, Budden’s co-host Trevor “Queenzflip” Robinson alleged hearing similar talk during a visit to the Atlantic Records office. “You were right, too, about Atlantic wanting to put out an album,” Robinson added. However, it’s worth noting Budden clarified that he hasn’t heard anything directly from Atlantic, despite Robinson’s take.

Upon catching wind of the criticism, Bardi surfaced on X Spaces, where she issued a scathing response. “You not getting information on me,” she shared, suggesting the duo of telling tall tales. “Every five-six months you comparing another female rapper towards me, you compare new artists, old artists, every single fucking artist with me, bro. … If you love these bitches so much, why are you not talking about their album?”

She continued to suggest that the artists Budden and his team compare her to aren’t even in her league. “You compare females to me that my worst records beat their best records,” she continued. “I don’t give a fuck about none of these bitches. … To be realistic, you not worried about my album because you wanna hear it. ‘Cause if you wanna hear it you can pull up to my studio session.”

Regarding her upcoming album, the Grammy-winning rapper revealed it is ready for release and noted that Hot 97’s very own TT Torez of has already heard it.”But you really want my album to come out so you can criticize it,” she said. “‘Cause every time I drop something you don’t like it. Every single time a bitch drops something and they doing mediocre, you say they doing better than me.”

“What are you talking about? The shit is in motion,” she said of her long-awaited second album. “Merch is in motion, the box sets is in motion. You don’t know shit. … Leave me alone, I want you to leave me the fuck alone.”

Budden, who later denied all claims of receiving a lap dance from Cardi or using cocaine, vowed to “not cover a single thing” she does for the rest of her career.

Cardi’s rant comes on the heels of her addressing rumors that she is pregnant.

The speculation intensified over the Fourth of July holiday when she appeared in a form-fitting white tank top, a stark contrast to her previous loose-fitting outfits.

Until now, Cardi had not commented on the rumors. On Monday (July 15), during a conversation with fans about her upcoming album, a fan asked about the chatter but misspelled “pregnant” as “perganant.” She responded, “No bitch I ain’t ‘perganant.’”
