Cardi B opens up about she found out she was pregnant with baby number 3.
While on Instagram live, Cardi expresses, “this is around the time that I’m promoting, promoting, promoting the f**k out of ‘Enough,’” the rapper shared. “So I’m like, damn, I’m pregnant. But I’m not really thinking much of it. Me and my baby dad, we were on very bad terms. I still called him and we kind of laughed about it because it was like, ‘What the f**k? That s**t is so random.’
“We literally went to Colombia [early in the year because he went with me when I got my surgery,” Cardi B continued. “[…] In 2024 I knew I only had sex on Valentine’s Day and before I got my surgery.”
The Bronx native says a strange taste in her mouth let her know she was expecting. “It was around March 20 or March 16… It was around those days, right?” Bardi expressed. “I woke up one morning and my mouth tasted like copper. It literally tasted like copper. So I was like, ‘Oh my gosh. This only happened to me when I’m pregnant.’
“So I was like, damn. I automatically knew that I was pregnant,” Cardi B continued. “When I found out it was a girl, I started crying even more because y’all know that I love raising girls.”

Cardi previously announced via Instagram that she was expecting a baby girl. “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!” she captioned her Instagram photos.
“You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
